Revolut Launches EURR Stablecoin, Bridging Fiat and Crypto on Ethereum

Revolut has announced its latest move into cryptocurrency markets with the launch of EURR, a euro-backed stablecoin that bridges fiat and Web3 on Ethereum.

The fintech giant has been expanding its crypto offerings in recent years, starting with eliminating hidden fees and friction in currency exchange. Now, it's doing the same for crypto.

EURR is a euro-pegged e-money token designed to maintain a 1:1 value with the euro and will initially launch on the Ethereum blockchain network.

The stablecoin will be available to eligible customers in Denmark, Portugal, and Poland first, but Revolut plans to expand its availability to other European countries and compatible Web3 wallets soon.
