Royal Bank Issues Auto-Callable Enhanced Return Barrier Notes Linked to Five Equity Securities
Royal Bank of Canada has issued Auto-Callable Enhanced Return Barrier Notes linked to five equity securities. The notes have a maturity date of November 2, 2029, and are set to be called for at least 17.50% return if the basket's value is greater than or equal to its initial value on a specific observation date.
The notes will provide investors with a potential return of up to 150% of the basket's performance if they are not automatically called. However, if the final basket value is less than the barrier value, investors may lose part or all of their principal amount at maturity.
Royal Bank of Canada has estimated that the initial estimated value of each note will be between $905 and $955 per $1,000 principal amount on the trade date. The notes are subject to risks including market volatility, credit risk, and potential losses due to changes in the values of the underlying basket.
