RUA GOLD Inc., a mining company based in New Zealand, has received a six-month permitting clock for its Auld Creek Gold-Antimony Project. The project was designated as a Fast-Track Project under the Fast-Track Approvals Act, recognizing its national significance and triggering a streamlined review process.

The company has been working towards this development timeline since 2024 and has made significant progress in recent years, including drilling aggressively, completing a Preliminary Economic Assessment, and conducting over 800 community engagements. The project is expected to employ approximately 200 people and contribute an estimated NZ$240 million to the regional economy.

The Fast-Track designation allows RUA GOLD to participate in a single six-month expert panel review process, replacing a fragmented multi-statute approvals process. The company's Vice President, Simon Delander, stated that this validation of their timeline is 'very encouraging' and confirms the project's national significance.
