Rupee Edges Higher Against Dollar Amid Global Market Turmoil
The Pakistani rupee maintained its marginal gains against the US dollar on Tuesday, closing at 277.76, a gain of Re0.01 compared to the previous day.
This comes as the international US dollar is nursing losses, having slid due to yen-buying intervention and falling oil prices.
The euro was little changed against the greenback, while sterling slipped 0.06% to $1.3427. The dollar index bounced back from a 1-1/2-month low to 99.98.
