Rupee Edges Up Against Dollar Amid Minor Fluctuations
The Pakistani Rupee remained relatively stable against the US Dollar on Friday, appreciating by only 1 paisa in interbank trading. The currency closed at Rs 277.25 compared to the previous day's closing of Rs 277.26. This slight appreciation is a welcome development for Pakistan's economy.
The Forex Association of Pakistan (FAP) reported that the buying and selling rates of the dollar in the open market were recorded at Rs 278 and Rs 278.3, respectively. The prices of other major currencies against the rupee also saw minor fluctuations.
