Rupee Falls to 95.55 Against Dollar Amid Global Crude Oil Disruptions
The Indian rupee declined by 10 paise to 95.55 against the US dollar in early trade on Friday, August 28, due to Foreign Institutional Investor (FII) outflows and global crude oil supply disruptions.
A weaker greenback and lower global crude oil prices helped prevent a sharper decline in the rupee.
The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) is expected to maintain the upper limit of 95.60, while importers are buying at the lower end due to month-end demand.
