Rupee Gains Second Straight Day Against US Dollar Amid Global Market Weakness
The Pakistani rupee continued its upward trend against the US dollar on Tuesday, closing at 277.76 per dollar after gaining Re0.01 from Monday's settlement price of 277.77.
This development comes as global currency markets experienced weakness in the US dollar due to yen-buying intervention and declining oil prices putting pressure on the greenback.
The euro remained mostly stable at $1.1511, while the British pound slipped 0.06% to $1.3427.
