Rupee Marks 213 Days of Consecutive Gains Against USD
The Pakistani rupee (PKR) has continued its winning streak against the US Dollar (USD), marking the 213th consecutive day of gains. On Wednesday, the PKR closed at 277.75 after a one paisa gain against the USD.
This consistent performance started on December 25, 2025, and shows no signs of slowing down. The rupee has been steadily increasing in value since then, with today's closing price being one paisa higher than yesterday's.
However, not all currencies were kind to the PKR. It lost ground against several major currencies, including the British Pound (GBP) by 53 paisas and the Euro (EUR) by 62 paisas.
