Rupee Opens Higher Against Dollar Amid Adverse Circumstances
The Indian rupee opened higher against the US dollar on September 30. The rupee traded at 95.95 per dollar, a slight improvement from Tuesday's close of 95.98.
Finrex predicted that the rupee would open around 95.92 with a dollar index around 101.39, US-10 year at 5.2340%, and Brent at USD 96.56 per barrel. The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has been able to keep the rupee closing near 95.00 levels for seven consecutive months.
The RBI's efforts are being watched closely as the current circumstances are adverse. Exporters are advised to sell near 96.15 levels, while importers should buy on dips.
