Rupee Posts Slight Gains Amid Stable Trend
The Pakistani rupee showed slight gains against the US dollar on Friday, according to market dealers.
The interbank market saw the local currency close at 277.07 per dollar, a small increase from its previous session's close of 277.1.
In the open market, the rupee also rose slightly, trading at 279.01 against the dollar compared to Thursday's rate of 279.09.
The stable trend in the rupee is attributed to a matching demand and supply of dollars in the market, with growing foreign exchange reserves contributing to the stability.
