Rupee Trades Higher Against Dollar Amid RBI's Value-Maintenance Efforts
The Indian rupee has opened higher against the US dollar on September 30. It started trading at 95.95 per dollar, up from Tuesday's close of 95.98. Finrex predicted a similar opening price.
RBI's efforts to maintain the rupee's value are being closely watched. In the last seven months, it has managed to keep the rupee closing around 95.00 levels despite adverse market conditions. Whether it can achieve this feat again this month remains to be seen.
Exporters are looking to sell near 96.15 levels, while importers are advised to buy at dips. The RBI's strategy seems to be paying off so far.
