Ryanair Flight Savings Hinge on Simple Currency Switch
A simple trick could save you money on your next Ryanair flight, according to Martin Lewis' MoneySavingExpert team.
The team found that by using a local currency instead of their own, passengers can make significant savings on their flights. For example, a Warsaw to London ticket would cost £55.09 if paid in GBP, but just £53.04 if paid in Polish złoty, which is a 3.72% saving.
The team also recommends searching for one-way tickets instead of return flights and using specialist plastic that doesn't charge a foreign transaction fee to get the full gain of any savings.
The MoneySavingExpert team warns that prices do vary, so it's worth experimenting with different dates, times, and airports. They also remind customers to double-check when attempting this booking trick and failing to realise this could see their hard work in scouting out cheaper tickets a pointless exercise.
