Samir Dewan Appointed Group CEO at Bajaj Capital
Samir Dewan has been appointed as the new Group Chief Executive Officer at Bajaj Capital. With over three decades of experience in wealth management, private banking, and affluent banking, Dewan brings a wealth of knowledge to his new role.
Dewan joins Bajaj Capital from IndusInd Bank, where he served as Senior Executive Vice President and Country Head for Affluent, Private, NRI, and International Business. Prior to that, he held senior positions at Royal Bank of Canada (RBC), ABN AMRO, Bank of America, and ANZ Grindlays Bank.
At Bajaj Capital, Dewan will focus on strengthening alignment across the Group's businesses while maintaining its customer-focused approach. Sanjiv Bajaj, Joint Chairman & Managing Director of Bajaj Capital, commented that Dewan's experience in building businesses and leading through scale will be an important part of the company's journey.
