Silk Steps Down from RBNZ Amid Leadership Shake-Up
RBNZ Assistant Governor Karen Silk has announced her resignation from the Reserve Bank. She will leave in December after joining the central bank in 2022. Silk's career spans over a decade, with experience in financial services in New Zealand and Australia.
'After a long and varied career in banking and public service, this feels like the right time to begin a new chapter,' said Silk. The Reserve Bank has also announced two additional executive leadership roles under Governor Anna Breman's tenure.
