Silver Falls Again as Interest Rate Fears Persist
Silver futures continued their decline on Tuesday for the second consecutive session, falling nearly 1% to Rs 2.37 lakh per kilogram on the MCX.
The Multi Commodity Exchange saw its December contract drop by Rs 1,743 to Rs 2,37,574 per kg as traders waited for signals from Federal Reserve officials regarding interest rates in the US.
Expectations that interest rates will remain higher for longer have weighed on sentiment, according to Renisha Chainani, Chief Research Officer at Augmont.
