Skynest: Air NZ's Vertical Bunk Beds for Economy Passengers
Air New Zealand is rolling out a new seating concept for economy passengers on long-haul flights, turning unused cabin space into six bunk beds called Skynest.
The bunks provide a fully flat surface stretching up to two metres, comparable in length to some business class beds.
Flight Hacks' Tom Goward initially approached the concept with skepticism but found it surprisingly comfortable after testing it.
