Soludo Embracing Innovation to Drive Anambra's Economic Transformation
Anambra State Governor Professor Chukwuma Soludo is determined to transform his state into a technology and innovation-driven economy. To achieve this goal, he has been engaging with leading tech institutions in Canada.
Soludo visited Brampton and Toronto, where he inspected the Brampton Innovation District and met with its leadership. He also interacted with incubators, accelerators, and innovation institutions such as Altitude Accelerator, Brampton Venture Zone, Rogers Cybersecure Catalyst, and BHive.
The governor is keen on understanding the critical success factors behind thriving innovation ecosystems. He wants to know how institutions, infrastructure, talent pipelines, private-sector partnerships, and deliberate public-sector interventions can translate innovation into jobs, businesses, investment, and improved public services.
Soludo stated that his goal is not only to build physical infrastructure but to create a complete ecosystem where talent can thrive, startups can scale, businesses can innovate, technology can improve public services, and young people can compete successfully on the global stage.
