Soros Alumni Manipulate Markets, Fiat Money Experiment Goes Awry

Two former employees of George Soros, Secretary of the Treasury Scott Bessent and famed investor Stanley Druckenmiller, worked together during the UK pound crisis in 1992. Druckenmiller has since become an independent hedge fund manager with a successful track record on Wall Street, while Bessent's hedge funds have struggled.

Kevin Warsh, who worked as a high-level analyst for Druckenmiller and is now a close friend of President Trump, was involved in several suspicious market maneuvers. In 2026, gold prices plummeted after the Treasury sold euros for Japanese yen, and then recovered but later fell again following US attacks on Iran.

Secretary Bessent announced purchases of long-term US government bonds to prop up the market, but this move was seen as a short-term fix rather than a genuine attempt to address the underlying debt crisis. The Treasury also bought back $12.5 billion in short-term debt and $4 billion in long-term debt.

The FedWatch tool showed a significant increase in rate hike probability after Warsh's hawkish speech at Jackson Hole, indicating that the government is trying to manipulate markets. This is seen as a sign of a fiat money experiment gone wrong, with financiers rigging markets for their own gain.
