Stephanie Bowman Joins Ontario Liberal Leadership Race

Ontario Liberal caucus member Stephanie Bowman has joined the race to become the party's next leader, saying she wants to build a competitive party across the province.

Bowman represents Don Valley West in the legislature and had previously worked as campaign co-chair for fellow caucus member Rob Cerjanec until he dropped out of the race last month.

Before entering politics, Bowman worked in finance, serving on the Bank of Canada's board. She joins a crowded field that includes Lee Fairclough, who represents Etobicoke-Lakeshore, and several other candidates.

The leadership election concludes on November 21st.
