Stocks Fall Across North America Amid Global Market Volatility
The major stock indices in North America experienced losses on Wednesday, while commodity prices and foreign exchange rates fluctuated. The S&P 500 fell by 1.21%, the DOW declined by 0.97%, and the NASDAQ dropped by 2.15%. In contrast, the TSX rose by 0.82%.
The Chinese Yuan/Australian Dollar currency pair was down by 0.08% on FOREX markets. Other notable movers in the TSX included WCP-T, BTE-T, CVE-T, and CNQ-T, which all increased by more than 2%.
