A high-profile banking case in Switzerland is back in court, with disputed corporate expenses and millions in alleged personal benefits under scrutiny. Former Raiffeisen Bank Switzerland CEO Pierin Vincenz appeared in Zurich's cantonal High Court on August 10 to appeal his 2022 fraud conviction.

The judges will re-examine allegations that Vincenz and his business partner, Beat Stocker, unlawfully enriched themselves during company acquisitions. Prosecutors claim they first acquired stakes in businesses before Raiffeisen or payment company Aduno purchased those assets.

Vincenz's personal expenses are also being revisited. The prosecution alleged he used corporate credit cards to pay for thousands of Swiss francs' worth of red-light district visits, strip club trips, and a Tinder date billed to the bank.
