The KOF Economic Barometer in Switzerland has improved for the second consecutive month, according to data released on July. The barometer rose by 1.4 points to a level of 103.5, surpassing its medium-term average. This indicates a positive outlook for the Swiss economy.

The majority of production side indicator bundles reflected these developments, with increases in financial and insurance services, other services, construction industry, and more. This suggests that various sectors are contributing to the improving economic conditions.

However, inflation indicators were softer than expected, with eased inflation expectations from 3.36% to 3.14%, cost expectations fell from 85 to 78, and pricing intentions dropped by 4 points to a net 47%. This indicates that while the economy is improving, there are still some concerns about inflation.
