Swiss Franc Consolidates Against US Dollar Amid Ongoing Volatility
Switzerland's currency, the Swiss Franc (CHF), is currently in a consolidation phase against the US Dollar (USD). According to Quek Ser Leang of United Overseas Bank (UOB), this consolidation has been ongoing since a sharp rally that reached a high of 0.8265 two days ago.
The USD/CHF pair has been trading within a narrow range, between 0.8225 and 0.8265, as predicted by UOB. Leang notes that while momentum remains strong, it is still too early to confirm whether the USD will break above 0.8300.
If the price falls below 0.8185, however, this would indicate that a break above 0.8300 is unlikely. As of now, the consolidation phase continues, with no clear direction for the pair in the short term.
