Switzerland's annual inflation rate has reached its highest level in two years, reaching 1% in September.

The State Consumer Price Index (LIK) remained steady at 101.5 points, unchanged from August and up from 100 points in December 2025.

This stability is a result of opposing trends offsetting each other, as the prices for heating oil, gasoline, and diesel increased, while those for package tours abroad, car rentals, and car-sharing declined.
