Swiss National Bank Boosts Stake in Samsara IoT Platform Developer
The Swiss National Bank has increased its stake in Samsara Inc., a company that develops an industrial Internet of Things (IoT) platform. According to its latest SEC filing, the bank purchased 62,800 additional shares during the first quarter, bringing its total holdings to 1,015,800 shares.
This represents a 6.6% increase in the bank's stake in Samsara and accounts for 0.17% of the company's outstanding stock. The Swiss National Bank now owns a significant portion of Samsara, with its $32.19 million investment making it one of the largest institutional investors in the company.
Other notable institutional investors have also increased their stakes in Samsara during the fourth quarter. Baillie Gifford & Co., for example, acquired an additional 6,208,553 shares, bringing its total holdings to 47,660,513 shares. Vanguard Group Inc. and Goldman Sachs Group Inc. also increased their positions in the company.
