Switzerland's Trade Surplus Soars to 23.7 Billion Francs

Switzerland's trade surplus nearly doubled in the second quarter of this year to 23.7 billion francs, according to the Swiss National Bank.

This figure is up significantly from the 13.8 billion francs recorded during the same period last year.

The expansion was driven primarily by increased goods trade, with a surplus of nearly 30 billion francs during the quarter.

However, Switzerland posted a deficit of 4.4 billion francs for services during the same period.
