Sysco Diversifies Funding Base with Multi-Currency Debt Offerings
Sysco Corporation has launched a multi-currency long-term debt financing program to expand its funding base across currencies and capital tiers. The company, which operates in the foodservice distribution industry, entered multiple underwriting agreements for a broad slate of debt offerings in U.S. dollars, Canadian dollars, and euros.
The offerings include senior notes and junior subordinated notes with maturities ranging from 2029 to 2066. The CAD Senior Notes offering is expected to close on September 25, 2026, while the USD Senior Notes, USD Junior Subordinated Notes, and EUR Junior Subordinated Notes offerings are expected to close on October 6, 2026.
The transactions aim to enhance Sysco's financial flexibility for ongoing operations and potential investments. They also reflect the company's need for long-term capital to fund its global distribution network.
