Teneo Adds Jean Charest to Montreal Office as Senior Advisor
Teneo has added seasoned Canadian politician Jean Charest to its Montreal office as senior advisor. With over three decades of experience in federal and provincial politics, Charest brings a wealth of knowledge on Canada's position in the global economy.
Charest served as premier of Québec from 2003 to 2012 and as a deputy prime minister of Canada, playing a key role in championing the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement between Canada and the European Union. He joins Teneo from Montreal law firm Therrien Couture Jolicoeur, where he advised clients on international transactions and projects.
Teneo vice chairman James Crossland praised Charest's exceptional depth of experience and sophisticated understanding of economic and geopolitical issues. 'His perspective and counsel will be invaluable to our clients,' Crossland said.
