Thai Rider Mistakes Korean Won for Japanese Yen in Payment Mix-Up

A Thai delivery rider had an embarrassing moment when he mistook a South Korean won banknote for Japanese yen after receiving payment from a customer.

The incident occurred on September 23, 2026. The rider received more than 400 baht in payment and a 5,000-yen banknote from the customer, which is worth around 1,000 baht according to current exchange rates.

However, another Facebook user pointed out that the banknote was actually South Korean won, worth around 122 baht. The rider's mistake turned what he thought was a generous gesture into an unexpected currency mix-up.
