US President Donald Trump has expressed his discontent with the exchange rate between the US and Canadian dollars. In a recent post on TruthSocial, he stated that the imbalance between the two currencies is 'unacceptable' and has been ongoing for years.

The current exchange rate stands at approximately 72 US cents to one Canadian dollar. However, Trump did not specify what specific issue he wants to rectify with regards to the Canadian dollar.

This latest development comes amidst a deteriorating relationship between the two countries. Last month, Canada withdrew from tariffs negotiations with Washington, citing unfair demands from the Trump administration. In response, Ottawa announced retaliatory tariffs on US goods, prompting Trump's criticism.
