Trump Traders Predict 62% Chance of Warsh Criticism After Rate Hike

Kalshi traders predict a 62% chance that President Donald Trump will publicly criticize Federal Reserve Chair Kevin Warsh following the central bank's latest interest-rate decision.

The market prices an increased chance of Trump criticizing Warsh before 2027, up from 28% as of September 18. This comes after the Fed raised its benchmark interest rate by a quarter percentage point on Wednesday, its first increase since 2023.

Trump has repeatedly called for lower interest rates and recently posted an ultimatum on his social media account to 'LOWER THE RATE OR I'LL STOP TRADING WITH COUNTRIES WITH WHICH WE HAVE A DEFICIT.'
