TSX Ends Flat Amid Ongoing Middle East Uncertainty

The Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX) remained largely unchanged on Thursday, closing at 36,136.31 after experiencing a 10.11-point decline.

The Canadian dollar also saw a minimal decrease of 0.02 cents to 71.35 cents U.S.

Several companies reported positive earnings, including Canadian Natural Resources, which beat second-quarter profit estimates due to increased oil and natural gas production.

Shares in Natural Resources rose by 98 cents or 1.6% to $63.83, while Quebecor saw a gain of 5.8% to $65.22 after posting a rise in quarterly revenue.
