Tuzi Police Arrest Two Suspects in Foreign Currency Exchange Operation

Two individuals, Nedžad Pepić and Maraš Dušaj, were arrested in Tuzi during a police operation. According to unofficial information from newspaper Vijesti, they are suspected of engaging in unauthorized banking activities related to foreign currency exchange.

A significant amount of money was found on them, including euros, dollars, pounds, lek, and other currencies. The total value exceeds 10,000 euros. One of the arrested individuals admitted to inspectors that he was involved in illegal foreign exchange activities.

The second person was caught exchanging foreign currency. The prosecution is still evaluating whether their actions constitute a criminal offense.
