UA.NEWS Predicts Weekend Dollar and Euro Exchange Rates in Ukraine

On September 5, Ukrainian currency exchange offices and bank teller windows will operate within specific exchange rate ranges for buying and selling US dollars. According to expert Oleksiy Kozyrev's forecast, the dollar will trade between 44.30 and 44.60 UAH per dollar for buying, and from 44.75 to 45.10 UAH for selling.

The euro exchange rate at currency exchange offices on September 5 is predicted to be between 51.40-51.90 UAH for buying and 52.20-52.50 UAH for selling. Kozyrev noted that during the weekend, currency exchange offices are unlikely to significantly raise or lower their rates.

Most currency exchange offices will operate with a spread of 15-20 kopecks against the dollar and 20-40 kopecks against the euro, though some 'greedy' chains in busy areas may maintain larger spreads. As of September 7, the National Bank of Ukraine set the official exchange rate at 44.56 UAH per dollar and 51.79 UAH per euro.
