Ukraine Adjusts Exchange Rates for Dollar and Euro

The National Bank of Ukraine has adjusted its official exchange rates for the dollar and euro as of September 2. The U.S. dollar decreased by 6 kopecks to 44.46 hryvnia, while the euro dropped by 10 kopecks to 51.54 hryvnia.

The National Bank of Ukraine reported that the exchange rates remain relatively stable on the foreign market. As of September 1 evening, banks are buying the dollar at an average rate of 44.31 hryvnia and selling it at 44.80 hryvnia.

In comparison, on the black market, the dollar is being bought at 44.72 hryvnia and sold at 44.80 hryvnia, while the euro trades in the range of 51.82-51.94 hryvnia. Currency exchange offices are also buying the U.S. dollar at an average rate of 44.31 hryvnia and selling it at 44.83 hryvnia.
