Ukraine Central Bank Trims Dollar and Euro Rates Amid Market Adjustments

The National Bank of Ukraine has made adjustments to its official exchange rates for the US dollar and euro. As of September 17, 2026, the bank set the official rate at UAH 44.60 per US dollar and UAH 51.44 per euro.

Compared to the previous day, the US dollar fell by 3 kopecks, while the euro declined by 7 kopecks. The average exchange rates for banks were slightly different: the buying rate was around UAH 44.44-44.91 for the dollar and UAH 51.18-51.84 for the euro.

Exchange offices reported average cash exchange rates of UAH 44.73-44.85 for the dollar and UAH 51.60-51.95 for the euro. Some banks, such as PrivatBank and Monobank, also provided their own exchange rate ranges.

In a related development, the government included an estimated average annual exchange rate of UAH 45.6 per US dollar in its draft state budget for 2026.
