Ukraine Dollar Exchange Rate Breaks Record at Over 45 Hryvnias

The official exchange rate of the US dollar in Ukraine has reached a new high, surpassing 45 hryvnias for the first time. The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) set the rate at UAH 45.0564 per dollar on Tuesday, October 6. This marks a significant increase from the rates seen in 2024 and 2025, when the dollar was valued at UAH 41.2.

While the dollar is strengthening, the euro is experiencing a decline. According to NBU data, the euro will lose another 5 kopecks on October 6. This trend of the dollar rising while the euro falls has been observed in recent days, with similar patterns noted at banks and currency exchange offices on October 5.
