Ukraine Lowers Official Dollar and Euro Exchange Rates

The National Bank of Ukraine has lowered its official exchange rates for both the US dollar and euro as of September 29, 2026. The new rates are UAH 44.81 per US dollar and UAH 50.97 per euro.

Over the course of a single day, the US dollar declined by just 3 kopecks, while the euro fell by 16 kopecks.

The official exchange rate is only one part of the picture, as prices can fluctuate depending on the bank branch, exchange desk, or card payment method used.

According to data from Minfin, the average bank buying and selling rates for US dollars are UAH 44.67 and UAH 45.16 respectively, while the euro rates stand at UAH 50.85 and UAH 51.50.
