Ukraine National Bank Raises Dollar Rate Amid Euro Decline

The National Bank of Ukraine has adjusted its official exchange rates for October 2. The US dollar has risen to UAH 44.83, a gain of 15 kopecks from the previous day's rate. In contrast, the euro has fallen to UAH 50.69, down 2 kopecks from the same period.

According to data on the National Bank's website, these rates represent a significant shift in the exchange market. The dollar's increase and the euro's decline may have implications for Ukraine's economy, particularly as the country prepares its budget for 2026.

The government has set an average annual forecast exchange rate of UAH 45.6 per dollar in its draft state budget for next year. This suggests that policymakers are anticipating a moderate appreciation of the hryvnia against the dollar.
