Ukraine's Central Bank Releases New Exchange Rates: Euro Gains Ground, Dollar Remains Steady

The National Bank of Ukraine has set the official exchange rates for Tuesday, August 18. The U.S. dollar's value barely changed, while the euro rose by 10 kopecks.

In the latest data from the National Bank of Ukraine, the official hryvnia exchange rate is UAH 44.69 per U.S. dollar, a slight decrease from yesterday's rate of UAH 44.70. In contrast, the euro has gained ground at UAH 51.80 per euro, a 10 kopeck increase from the previous day's rate of UAH 51.70.

The government had set the projected average annual exchange rate for next year at UAH 45.6 per U.S. dollar in its draft state budget for 2026.
