Ukraine's Central Bank Slashes Dollar, Euro Rates on August 13

The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has adjusted its official exchange rates for the US dollar and euro on August 13. The hryvnia strengthened against both major currencies, with the dollar losing 15 kopecks and the euro falling by 14 kopecks compared to the previous day.

According to NBU data, the new exchange rates are UAH 44.71 per dollar and UAH 51.61 per euro. This represents a decrease of 15 kopecks for the dollar and 14 kopecks for the euro from August 12's rates.

The government's draft state budget for 2026 projects an average annual exchange rate of UAH 45.6 per dollar, indicating a potential increase in the hryvnia's value against the dollar in the coming years.
