Ukraine's Exchange Rates Weaken Amid Economic Uncertainty

The National Bank of Ukraine has adjusted its official exchange rates for major currencies. The US dollar is now valued at 44.60 UAH, a three-kopeck decrease from the previous rate. Meanwhile, the euro has depreciated by seven kopecks to 51.44 UAH.

The Polish zloty also saw a decline in value, losing four kopecks to 11.83 UAH. These new exchange rates took effect on September 17, 2026.

According to the Ministry of Finance, cash exchange rates for these currencies at Ukrainian currency exchange offices are slightly different: 44.40-44.93 UAH for the dollar, 51.24-51.86 UAH for the euro, and 11.62-12.01 UAH for the zloty.

Some banks also reported their own exchange rates: PrivatBank valued the dollar at 44.20-44.80 UAH, the euro at 50.80-51.80 UAH, and the zloty at 11.90-12.20 UAH. Similarly, Oschadbank pegged the dollar at 44.50-44.99 UAH, the euro at 51.25-52.05 UAH, and the zloty at 11.90-12.30 UAH.
