Ukraine's Hryvnia Strengthens Against Dollar and Euro
The National Bank of Ukraine has released new official exchange rates for September 29. The hryvnia has strengthened against major world currencies, with the US dollar falling by 3 kopecks and the euro declining by 16 kopecks compared to the previous banking day.
As reported by Finway, the current exchange rates are as follows: 1 US dollar is equal to 44.81 UAH, down from 44.84 UAH on the previous banking day; 1 euro is worth 50.97 UAH, a decrease of 16 kopecks from its previous value of 51.13 UAH.
The National Bank's data provides insight into the current state of Ukraine's currency market. According to the draft State Budget for 2026, the government forecasts an average annual exchange rate of the hryvnia to the dollar at 45.6 UAH per US dollar, indicating expectations of gradual stability in the currency market.
