US Cracks Down on Global Financial Institutions Helping Iran
Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent has issued a warning to global financial institutions that any entity facilitating money laundering for Iran will be banned from the US dollar system.
This comes as part of the zero-leakage strategy targeting the Iranian regime and its global facilitators, including China. The strategy aims to cut off all channels of funding for the regime.
Economist Steve Moore notes that China remains a critical trading partner that must comply with these measures to ensure the strategy's success.
