US Dollar Falls as Markets See Mixed Performance Overnight
Markets saw a mixed performance overnight, with base metals generally falling and precious metals pulling back. LME aluminum led losses with a 2.28% decline, while SHFE nickel fell by 0.88%. On the other hand, LME copper rose 0.18%, LME tin increased by 0.52%, and SHFE tin also rose.
The ferrous metals market saw a broader increase, except for stainless steel which declined by 0.83%. Rebar, hot-rolled coil, and iron ore all gained around 0.4%, while coking coal rose 1.7% and coke increased by 0.55%.
On the precious metals front, COMEX gold fell by 1.35% and COMEX silver declined by 1.7%. SHFE gold decreased by 1.24% and SHFE silver dropped by 1.48%.
