US Dollar Rises in Baghdad and Erbil Markets
The US dollar opened Monday’s trading at a higher rate in Iraq, reaching around 160,000 dinars per 100 dollars. This marks an increase from the previous session’s 157,950 dinars, according to a Shafaq News market survey.
In Baghdad’s Al-Kifah and Al-Harithiya exchanges, the dollar traded at 159,050 dinars per 100 dollars. Exchange shops in the Iraqi capital sold the dollar at 159,500 dinars and bought it at 158,500 dinars.
Meanwhile, in Erbil, the selling price stood at 159,500 dinars, while the buying price was slightly lower at 159,450 dinars. This rise in the dollar’s value reflects the latest trends in Iraq’s currency exchange markets.
