US Dollar Weakness Continues Despite Strong PMI Figures
The US dollar weakened on Thursday despite strong PMI figures from the services sector.
The decline in the USD continued, with the currency falling against most of its peers as improving market risk appetite curbed demand for safe-haven currencies.
The latest ISM services PMI showed that US services activity expanded at its fastest rate in six months, but this did not translate into support for the dollar.
The upcoming non-farm payroll report takes centre stage today, with the USD vulnerable to further losses if another weak reading casts doubt on a Federal Reserve rate hike this month.
