US Economy Strengthens, But Inflation Persists: Warsh
Federal Reserve Chairman Kevin Warsh stated that the US economy has strengthened since Fed policymakers last met in June, with a labor market essentially running at full employment.
However, he emphasized that inflation remains the primary concern, as underlying growth is higher and stable prices have been an issue for over five and a half years.
This was announced during a press conference following a two-day meeting of the Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) at the Federal Reserve in Washington, D.C., on September 16, 2026.
