US Futures Rebound as Jobs Report Looms
The US futures market is showing signs of recovery after a volatile session, with the SP500 trading around 7,680.60, up approximately 0.07%.
The upcoming nonfarm payrolls report on Friday will be closely watched, with markets estimating roughly 90,000 new jobs added in September, down from August's 162,000.
A stronger-than-expected jobs report could reinforce expectations of further Federal Reserve tightening and potentially push yields higher, which would weigh on equity valuations and pressure the SP500.
However, a very weak reading could have a mixed effect, as falling yields may initially support equities, while signs of a weakening labor market could increase recession concerns.
