US stock market futures fell on Monday as investors assessed the potential impact of new US sanctions on Iran, rising Treasury yields, and the outlook for interest rates.

The Dow Jones Futures dropped 128 points, or 0.24%, while S&P 500 Futures fell 21.25 points, or 0.28%.

Nasdaq 100 Futures were down 200.75 points, or 0.68%, making the technology-heavy index the weakest among the major US stock futures.

The weaker futures performance comes as markets enter an important week, with developments around Iran, Nvidia's earnings, and the Federal Reserve's Jackson Hole symposium expected to influence investor sentiment.
